The shower activity that's been scattered around this afternoon is wrapping up as drier air moves in, so most of tonight should stay dry. Overnight lows will only drop to the mid-80s, near record warmth for late June, and that mugginess won't ease up as we head into Monday with highs near 92°F.

What's driving this setup is broad high pressure sitting over the region, that big dome of sinking air that kills storm development and keeps things stable. A weak frontal boundary will slide down from central Florida late Monday, but it won't pack much punch by the time it reaches the Keys. Instead of bringing cooler, drier air, it'll just slightly weaken that high pressure and ease the winds a bit. The real story is the dewpoints hovering in the mid-70s, which means the air is saturated with moisture, keeping that sticky feeling locked in even at night.

Looking ahead, this pattern doesn't change much through Tuesday. You'll stay in that same warm, muggy zone with occasional isolated storms possible but nothing organized.
